What we are aiming for

We want anyone to be able to read this site and reach a licensed agent, whatever they are using to get here. That includes screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification and speech input.

The standard we work to is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This site is partially conformant with it, which means most of it meets the standard and some of it has not been tested.

We would rather tell you exactly what has and has not been checked than claim a level nobody has audited. The list below is honest in both directions, and it is dated.

What has been done

Each of these was checked against the published site, not just intended:

  • Every page is ordinary HTML. The only script anywhere on this site is about half a kilobyte on the quote and contact form, and all it does is relax a rule so you can give us either a phone number or an email address rather than both. With JavaScript switched off the form still works — it simply asks for both.
  • A skip-to-content link is the first thing the keyboard reaches on every page, so you are never made to tab through the whole menu.
  • A visible focus outline on every link, button, form field and expandable section, so keyboard users can always see where they are.
  • Text colours measured for contrast. One of the site’s text colours was darkened in July 2026 after it measured below the 4.5:1 minimum, and the replacement rule is written into the stylesheet so it cannot quietly regress.
  • Every image has a text alternative — all of them, on every page of the site.
  • Expandable questions use the browser’s own controls rather than a scripted imitation, so they behave the way your software expects.
  • Every form field has a real, clickable label.
  • Animation respects your system setting. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, this site does.
  • The page language is declared, so a screen reader pronounces it correctly.
  • Nothing gets in the way. No cookie banner, no pop-ups, no interstitials, no automatically playing sound or video, no carousels, no timed content.

What has not been tested yet

This is the honest half of the page. These are not known failures — they are things nobody has verified, and we are not going to imply otherwise:

  • A full pass with a screen reader such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
  • Keyboard focus order checked end to end on every page.
  • Whether form errors are announced clearly to assistive software.
  • Text enlarged to 200%, and page reflow at 400%.
  • The two technical diagrams — the coastal corridor map and the condominium boundary illustration. Complex pictures need carefully written descriptions, and theirs have not been evaluated.
  • Colour contrast across every combination on the site. One problem colour was found and fixed; a complete sweep has not been run.

If any of this gets in your way

You do not need this website to do business with us. Nothing here binds coverage, no page can issue a policy, and every quote starts with a phone call anyway. Call (281) 484-8320 and a licensed Texas agent will do on the phone whatever the site was supposed to do — take the details, compare the markets, and follow up.

If you would rather come in, the office is at 360 FM 1959, Houston, TX 77034, open Monday to Thursday, 9:00 to 5:00; Friday, 9:00 to 4:00. It is a single ground-floor office.

Telling us about a problem

If something on this site did not work for you, we want to hear it — a specific barrier is far more useful to us than a general audit, because we can fix it this week.

Call (281) 484-8320 and ask for the owner, or use the contact form and say what happened. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what you were using — browser, screen reader, keyboard only, whatever applies. If we cannot fix it quickly we will tell you that, and tell you how to get the same thing done another way.

How this page is kept honest

The revision date at the top is typed by whoever last reviewed this document, not generated by the build, so it means a person went through the lists on that day.

As items move from the untested list to the tested one, they move on this page. If a test finds a failure, it gets named here rather than quietly removed.

Questions about any of this?

Call the office and ask for the owner. We would rather answer a question about how we handle your information than have you guess from a document.
