Billing
You pay the company on the policy, not the agency.
Every market runs its own billing, its own due dates and its own portal. This page is the shortest route to yours and nothing more. Moon Insurance takes no payment on this site, over the phone or by email — if someone asks you for a card in this agency’s name, it is not us.
A cancellation notice is not a bill
If the notice gives a date, pay the carrier before that date, then call us. Once a policy cancels for non-payment, putting it back is the carrier’s decision and not ours — and on an SR-22 the lapse reaches DPS whether or not the policy is reinstated.
Where to pay
By market, with the portal each company publishes.
Look for the company named on your declarations page or renewal notice. That is who bills you; this office is who you call when the portal will not take it.
Source: each carrier’s own payment page, requested and answered in turn. Verified .
Many markets take payment only behind a policyholder sign-in, and a few publish no payment page a visitor can reach at all. Those show a phone number rather than a link we could not stand behind. Call and we will tell you where that policy is billed.
Two cases this page does not cover
Escrow, and flood.
If your mortgage company escrows the premium, you do not pay the carrier — the servicer does, out of the escrow account, once a year. A bill arriving at your house usually means the carrier has the mortgagee clause wrong, or the servicer never got the renewal. That is a call to us, not a payment.
Flood cover under the NFIP is billed by the company that issued the policy rather than by FEMA, and the federal program does not take premium directly. The name to pay is at the top of the declarations page.
One desk
Cannot find the company, or cannot get the portal to take it?
Call and we will find the policy, tell you who bills it, and stay on the line until it is paid. That is faster than a password reset, and it is what this office is for.
